JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 31-07-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Laheri Police Station Case No. 166 of 2014 registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Petitioner happens to be husband of the complainant and it appears that there is specific allegation of illegal demand and torture against him, I am not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail in connection with Laheri P.S.Case No. 166 of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.45164 of 2014 (7) dt.31-07-2015 2/2 2014, pending in the court of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda at Biharsharif stands rejected.

However, this order shall not cause any prejudice to the concerned court at the time of consideration of regular bail application of the petitioner.
