The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sitamarhi P.S. Case No. 344/2018 dated 03.04.2018 instituted for the offence under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner and two others were arrested with a stolen motorcycle. One of the accused persons confessed his guilt that he had stolen the aforesaid motorcycle.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he had no idea that one of his associate had stolen the aforesaid motorcycle.

The petitioner is in custody since 03.04.2018. Regard being had to the period of custody, nature of accusation and the clean antecedent of the petitioner, he is directed

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39592 of 2018 (2) dt.09-07-2018 2/2 to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi in connection with Sitamarhi P.S.
