The present application has been filed for quashing the order cognizance dated 22.1.2013 passed by the learned C.J.M. Madhubani in Madhwapur P.S. Case No. 41 of 2011 whereby process has been directed to be issued after cognizance being taken for the offence under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. It is submitted by learned counsel for the informant that in the present quashing application statement has been made in paragraph 10 that application for discharge on behalf of the petitioner was filed on 2.9.2014 as contained in Annexure 4.

Considering the present stand of the parties as well as the present stage of proceeding, this application stands disposed of.

It is expected from the learned court below to dispose of the discharge application of the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
