In the present writ application, the following relief has been sought for on behalf of the petitioners : (I) That this writ application is being filed for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, order or orders in the nature of mandamus for directing and commanding the respondents to pay the difference of the arrear of salary of the petitioners which has been accrue in terms of Annexure-2, 3 and 3/1 i.e. from 01.01.1986 to 31.12.1996 at the rate of Rs.17403000/- and from 01.01.96 till 19.02.2007 at the rate of Rs.5500-9000/- and thereafter at the rate of
Patna High Court CWJC No.21276 of 2011(6) dt.03-11-2017 2/2 Rs.13,500/- minus payment already made as the petitioners were getting the salary of Lab Assistant whereas they were entitled to get the salary of Demonstrator in terms of the fixation made by the University as much as the U.G.C. with 18% compound interest and cost forthwith.
Considering the relief sought for on behalf of the petitioners in the present writ application, the petitioners are directed to file a representation before the Respondent No.3 i.e. The Vice Chancellor, Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University, Madhepura. The Respondent No.3 shall consider the representation of the petitioners and pass a reasoned order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of filing of such representation by the petitioners. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
