The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Excise case No. 550 of 2019 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

On secret inputs that petitioner and his brother were indulged in trade of illicit liquor, a raid was conducted and 93 liters of country made liquor and Indian made Foreign Liquor was recovered from the courtyard of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Pawan Choudhary, own brother of petitioner, has already been granted anticipatory bail by a coordinate bench of this court vide order dated 25.06.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 36458 of 2019 but I do not feel inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49291 of 2019(2) dt.07-08-2019 2/2 petitioner only because huge quantity of country made liquor and IMFL was recovered from the courtyard inside the house of petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer of petitioner for anticipatory bail is rejected.
