2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Baunsi PS Case No. 101 of 2023 registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a)/37(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

3. 183 litres of illicit liquor has been recovered from a vehicle of which this petitioner is registered owner.

4. It is submitted that no recovery has been made from conscious possession of this petitioner. Petitioner has got no concern with the seized liquor. Without the knowledge and consent of this petitioner, his vehicle was used for transportation of illicit liquor. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned APP however vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the fact that huge quantity of illicit liquor has been recovered from the vehicle of which this petitioner is registered owner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above-named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
