The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Rajoun P.S. Case No. 197 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Section 307 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Prevention of Witch Craft Practices Act. There is specific allegation against the petitioner that he assaulted the informant with Khanti on her head, corresponding injuries are found on the head of the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the doctor has opined the injuries to be simple in nature. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
