The petitioner seeks bail in connection with K. Hat P.S. Case No. 19 of 2022 dated 06.01.2022 instituted for the offences under Sections 302/120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

It has been alleged in the F.I.R. that the son of the Informant was shot at by two persons namely Aashish Singh @ Athia and Shyamlal Singh, as a result of which he died. The implication of the petitioner in this case is on the basis of confession made by the aforesaid two named assailants. There is no direct evidence against the petitioner and he is in custody since 23.01.2022.

No.50339 of 2022(2) dt.09-12-2022 2/2 Regard being had to the aforenoted facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with K. Hat P.S. Case No. 19 of 2022.
