Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Excise Case No.336 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Liquor was recovered from the meat shop of the petitioner.

Since there is direct material against the petitioner's involvement under Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, hence, considering bar of prayer for anticipatory bail, I am not inclined

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7001 of 2021(2) dt.15-11-2021 2/2 to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail is refused.
