At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already challenged the impugned order of punishment dated 24.03.2021, passed by the Deputy Development Commissioner, Patna, by filing an appeal before the Principal Secretary, Rural Development Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, in the year 2021, hence the same be directed to be disposed off.

Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition, I deem it fit and proper to direct the Principal Secretary, Rural Development Department, Government of Bihar, Patna to dispose off the aforesaid appeal filed by the petitioner, in case the same has actually been filed and is still pending, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order. 4.
