Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Addl.P.P. for the State through video conferencing. The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 09.03.2021 passed in Cr. Appeal (SJ) No. 556 of 2020, by which the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail.

It is submitted that the petitioners are working in Delhi in a private company and due to spread of Covid-19

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61261 of 2021(2) dt.24-06-2022 2/2 pandemic, they could not surrender before the court below within the stipulated time.

For the reasons disclosed in the application, it is allowed and the time granted by order dated 09.03.2021, passed in Cr. Appeal (SJ) No. 556 of 2020 for surrender of the petitioners and furnishing bail bond is extended by four weeks from today.

Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioners within the stipulated time provided in para-1 hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
