Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Pupari P. S. case no. 154/2014 registered under sections 341, 342, 376, 511 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

There is specific allegation against the petitioner that he attempted to commit rape on the informant who was working under the petitioner.

Therefore, taking note of the facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, I do not feel it proper to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail in connection with the above stated case stands rejected.

However, if the petitioner surrenders within four weeks

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.38145 of 2014 (3) dt.22-06-2015 from today and seeks regular bail, his regular bail application shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by this rejection order.
