JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 24-06-2022 At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this application has become infructuous as opposite party no.2 in whose favour the maintenance was allowed has departed for the heavenly abode.

Mr.Ranjan Kumar Sinha, learned counsel, who had filed vakalatnama on behalf of the opposite party no.2, admits that the opposite party no.2 is no more. Learned counsel, however, submits that under the impugned order certain amounts had become due to the opposite party no.2 and since she is no more, her legal heirs would be entitled to recover the due amount from the petitioner.

If any such issue is raised before the appropriate court of law, the same will be subject matter of adjudication in accordance with law.
