The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 504, 379 and 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The prosecution case got initiated on the basis of written report of Prabhu Paswan submitted before the Station House Officer, Triveniganj Police Station is to the effect that on 05.07.2006 at about 5.00 P.M. , the informant was working as a labourer in the meantime, all the accused persons, including the

On protest being made, co-accused Anil Kumar assaulted him with a bamboo plank thereafter other accused also assaulted the informant with bricks. It is further alleged that co-accused Anil Yadav assaulted the informant with butt of pistol while co-accused Ganga Yadav snatched bicycle from the informant and the informant snatched wrist watch from the informant.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that maliciously the accusation has been levelled. Moreover, the informant has retracted from the initial version and has filed a petition to that effect before the learned Court below, which has been brought on record as Annexure-2.
It is submitted by learned APP for the State that the petitioner is named in the FIR.
Since the FIR was lodged in 2006 when the present anticipatory bail application has been registered on 31.07.2019, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. However, keeping in view the nature of accusation, let the learned Court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner and preferably disposed of the same on the same day, if the petitioner surrenders within a period of six weeks in Triveniganj P.S. Case No. 62 of 2006, pending
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47952 of 2019(2) dt.01-08-2019 3/3 before the learned CJM, Supaul.
With the above observation, this application is, accordingly, disposed of.
