2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Rudrapur P.S. Case No. 12/2024, G.R. No. 157/2024 dated 31.01.2024 registered for the offence punishable u/s 394, 412 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, when the informant was returning from his coaching, three persons boarded on a motorcycle intercepted the motorcycle of the informant and snatched mobile phone and also assaulted the informant with knife causing injury. When local people assembled there, two persons escaped on the motorcycle while one person was apprehended on the spot who disclosed his name as Golu Kumar Yadav and also disclosed the name of two persons who fled away with the informant's motorcycle as Raushan Kumar (petitioner) and Sikandar Paswan.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55561 of 2024(2) dt.29-08-2024 2/2 the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The co-accused person has already been granted regular bail by this court vide order dated 20.06.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 42027 of 2024. The petitioner is accused in three other criminal cases as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 13.02.2024 as stated in para 6 of the bail petition.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Jhanjharpur, Madhubani in connection with Rudrapur P.S. Case No. 12/2024, G.R. No. 157/2024.

7. The application stands allowed.
