Grievance of the petitioner is indecisiveness on the part of the State Government in taking decision for grant permanent affiliation B.A., B.SC & B.Com (Hons.). Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner institution enjoins privilege of affiliation up to pass course but recommendation for grant of affiliation in honours course of B.A., B.SC & B.Com is

Patna High Court CWJC No.14928 of 2019(2) dt.24-07-2019 2/2 pending at the level of the State Government. The University conducted examination of the institution in question for honurs B.A., B.SC. & B.Com and after 2018 they have not allowed admission for the current academic session. In a situation like the present, the students have not been allowed admission and they are suffering on account of inaction of the respondent state. The recommendation was made by the University in 2006 itself and it is still pending.

Considering the aforesaid, the Court is constrained to direct the Additional Chief Secretary cum Principal Secretary of the Education Department to look into the issue for grant of affiliation to the institution in question personally and pass appropriate order at the earliest within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order so that the students may not suffer adversely on account of pendency of the application for grant of affiliation at the level of the State Government and the admission process may be finally decided for the current session.

With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
