The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 302 of 2017 dated 27.06.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 447, 147, 148, 149 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The petitioner and others are said to have hurled abuses and resorted to firing at the house of the informant.

There has been a history of old dispute between the parties. Though the petitioner has been named in the FIR but nothing specific has been alleged against him. Under similar circumstances, another co-accused viz. Ponga Prasad has been granted anticipatory bail by a

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42068 of 2018(2) dt.20-07-2018 2/2 Bench of this Court by order dated 04.04.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 11944 of 2018.

For the aforestated facts, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 302 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. (Ashutosh Kumar, J) krishna/- U T
