2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Baithan P.S. Case No. 48 of 2023 registered for the offence under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, dacoits looted a motorcycle and Rs. 50,000/- cash from the informant.

4. The petitioner is named in the self inculpatory confessional statement of the co-accused and he has criminal antecedent also.

5. The petitioner is in custody since 22.3.2024.

6. Considering the serious allegation levelled against the petitioner and also considering the criminal

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57858 of 2024(2) dt.21-08-2024 2/2 antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
