2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 498A , 494 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of D. P Act.

3 . As per F.I.R., informant solemnized marriage with this petitioner five years ago , and after the marriage, when informant went to her matrimonial house, she was subjected to torture and cruelty by these petitioner and co-accused persons due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and lastly, she was ousted from her matrimonial house .

4. Petitioner No. 1 is father-in-law and petitioner No.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.54750 of 2024(3) dt.05-09-2024 2/2 2 is mother-in-law of the victim. Petitioners are simply victim of over implications. They are separate in mess and property. There is general and omnibus allegation is alleged against them and they have no concern with affairs of the couple. Thrust of accusation is against the husband of the victim. Petitioners claim clean antecedent.

5 . Learned counsel for the State opposes the bail petition .

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within six weeks from today, let these petitioners, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned ACJM II Bhabua in connection with Chainpur P . S. Case No . 146 of 2024 , subject to the conditions laid down under section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure . (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Koushik/- U T
