The prayer of the petitioner in the present writ application is for quashing the order dated 27.09.2012 passed by the State Election Commissioner, Bihar in Case No.122 of 2011 whereby the petitioner has been disqualified under Section 136(1)(c)(d)(i) and 136(2) of the Bihar Panchayat Raj Act from the post of Mukhiya of Gram Panchayt, Sonbhardra Bansi
Patna High Court CWJC No.7097 of 2013 (7) dt.10-01-2018 2/2 Suryapur Block of Arwal District.
It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the State Election Commission that the terms of Mukhiya expired in May, 2016 and subsequently the next election has also been held in May/June, 2016.
In view of the submissions made above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
