The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per the prosecution case, 25 litres of liquor was recovered from a vehicle of which the petitioner was a driver. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case because of his antecedent. No incriminating article has been recovered from his possession. He is in custody since 21.7.2021 and chargesheet has been submitted in the case. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61078 of 2021(2) dt.11-04-2022 2/2 into consideration the antecedent of the petitioner, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected.

Liberty is granted to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after four months.
