In view of the fact that Shastri Nagar Police Station Case No.312 of 2016 has been registered on the basis of the F.I.R., which has been lodged by the petitioner, as the informant, no further order is called for in this writ petition. Considering the matter in its entirety and in the interest of justice, it is hereby directed that respondent No.4,

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.472 of 2016 (3) dt.27-07-2016 2/2 namely, Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna, shall enquire into the grievances raised in the writ petition, do the needful in accordance with law and get the investigation of Shastri Nagar P.S. Case No. 312 of 2016 completed expeditiously, preferably, within a period of six months, ensuring proper, fair and effective investigation in such a way that no innocent person is harassed and necessary security of the petitioner is taken care of. Let a copy of this order be sent forthwith to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna, and Officer-in-Charge, Shastri Police Station.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
