1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the father of the petitioner while working as "Block Teacher" in Government Middle School Nikhati Kalan, AnchalRaghunathpur, District - Siwan, died in harness on 01-02-2020. After death of his father, the petitioner being the dependent son filed an application before the competent authority for consideration of his case for compassionate appointment.

Patna High Court CWJC No.11500 of 2023(2) dt.23-11-2023 2/2 Learned counsel next submits that there is a Government resolution i.e. resolution no. 1128 dated 21.08.2020 for appointment on compassionate ground to the dependents of the teachers, who died in harness.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the present writ application is disposed of with a direction to the concerned respondents to consider the application of the petitioner for compassionate appointment in accordance with law and take a final decision in this regard within a period of three months from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order.
