Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks after complete start of the physical Court. The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Gogri P.S. Case No. 316 of 2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 332, 333, 307, 337, 338, 353, 504, 506, 225 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody since 06.07.2021, are persons with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in this case.

No.61708 of 2021(2) dt.22-03-2022 2/3 Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the informant alleges that he along with police force after arresting the accused persons of Gogri P.S. Case No. 49 of 2019 were coming out from village then accused persons by forming an unlawful assembly surrounded the raiding team and started assaulting with lathi, danda, bricks etc., causing injury to the informant, on his back, leg, head, hands and blood started oozing from his middle finger of right hand and other other members of raiding team who suffered injury and the accused persons fled away by taking advantage of darkness.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the allegation against the petitioners are general and omnibus in nature and the injuries found to be simple in nature and coaccused Arbind Mandal has been granted bail by order dated 13.12.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 38279 of 2021, Punit Mandal has been granted bail by order dated 13.12.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 41058 of 2021 and further, other co-accused persons have been granted bail by Annexure 3 (series) of the bail application.

Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioners.

Considering the fact that the petitioners are in
