The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Bidupur P.S. Case No. 15 of 2016 registered under Sections 147, 148, 341, 323, 447, 504, 354 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the specific allegation made against the petitioner that he not only outraged the modesty of the informant but also assaulted her and her sister-in-law, Shyam Sunder Devi, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application preferred under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is rejected.
