2. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not intend to file any reply to the counter affidavit.

The petitioner has filed this application seeking direction to the respondent-Jai Prakash University, Chapra to issue mark-sheet of B.A. Part-III examination, College Leaving Certificate, University Degree and Migration Certificate. It is the case of the petitioner that he pursued the course of Bachelor of Arts with History Honours as student of S.M.D. College Mathiya, NACHHUA Jalalpur Gopalganj, which is affiliated

Patna High Court CWJC No.11538 of 2017(4) dt.23-04-2018 2/3 with Jai Prakash University, Chapra. He claims that he was assigned registration No. 1235903421 by the University. It is his case that despite having passed Part-III examination, the pass certificate/degree and other documents are not being issued to the petitioner.

In the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the University, it has been stated in paragraph 10 on the basis of the records that the said registration No. 1235903421, which is mentioned in T.D.S Ist part Examination 2013 and mark-sheet has been allocated to one Arbind Kumar of Zoology Honours and not in favour of the petitioner. The Registration No. 1235903431 is also allotted in favour of Sarita Kumari, daughter of Jai Narayan Sah, who was student of Zoology Honours. This is to be noticed that in the admit card, which was issued in favour of the petitioner for B.A. Part-I Examination 1235903421 of 2012 was mentioned as his registration number and for B.A. Part-II Examination in the admit card the registration number was mentioned as 1235903431, as has been stated in paragraph 8 of the writ application itself.

5. From the above, it appears that the petitioner was not a registered student of the University.

6. The relief as sought for, in the writ application,
