The petitioner seeks bail in Laukahi P.S. Case No. 124 of 2006, corresponding to G.R. No. 951 of 2006 giving rise to S.T. No. 430(A) of 2007, registered for the offence under Sections 395, 398 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of misuse of privilege of bail. Earlier, the petitioner was granted bail and thereafter, the case was running for framing of charge, but on 12.11.2007, no pairvi was made on behalf of the petitioner and as a result of which, non-bailable warrant of arrest was issued against this petitioner and the petitioner remained absconding till 07.07.2020. In view of the conduct of the petitioner, the bail petition of petitioner is rejected at present.
