In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Mushahari P.S. Case No. 45 of 2018, G.R. No. 944 of 2018 registered for offences under sections 414, 489(B), 489(C) and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1-b)A and 26 of the Arms Act.
As per allegation, the police, in order to control the crime, was engaged on patrolling duty, in the meantime, a pickup van was coming to the side of the police, signal was given by the police but, all the persons inside the van resorted to firing and started to flee away. The police anyhow seized the vehicle and arrested Raja Kumar, S/o Ram Vinod Sah and from the vehicle, huge quantity of fake note were recovered.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.43499 of 2018(2) dt.20-07-2018 2/2 Raja Kumar has given the name of the petitioner that he was also one of the occupants of the vehicle. Looking to the entire facts and circumstances of the case as also the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, above named, is rejected.
