Petitioner seeks bail in Special (Excise) Case No.263 of 2019 arising out of Sour Bazar (Patharghat) P.S. Case No.238 of 2019 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged that total 82.600 litres country made liquor has been recovered from road thrown by the persons, who were coming on motorcycle.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been arrested by the police merely on suspicion. Petitioner is in custody since 16.06.2019 having clean antecedents.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise Act, Saharsa, in connection with Special (Excise) Case No.263 of 2019 arising out of Sour Bazar (Patharghat OP) P.S. Case No.238 of 2019, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
