This application for regular bail arises out of Laheriasarai P.S. Case No. 43 of 2019, disclosing offences punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Mr. Ajay Kumar Thakur, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the informant did not have the occasion to see the occurrence and the case of the prosecution as narrated in the FIR lacks coherence. Learned counsel for the informant has opposed the prayer for bail.

However, considering the fact that the petitioner has been described to be the main assailant and the allegation in the FIR stands corroborated by the expert's opinion, I am not

However, the Court below is directed to ensure expeditious disposal of the trial. The Court records the undertaking given on behalf of the informant that he shall ensure his appearance before the Court as witness, as and when required.
