2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Pranpur P.S. Case No. 173 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the F.I.R, the petitioner is assailant of the deceased.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the informant is not an eyewitness of the occurrence. Petitioner is in custody since 14.08.2023.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that the trial is on the verge of the conclusion.

6. In the trial, out of five charge-sheeted witnesses, three witnesses have been examined including the doctor.

7. Considering the fact that the trial is on the verge of conclusion, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. This application for regular bail is, accordingly, rejected.

8. As the trial is continuing, it is expected that it is not unnecessarily delayed.
