This is a petition for grant of regular bail in connection with Triveniganj P.S. Case No. 142 of 1977, G.R. Case No. 692 of 1997 for offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 452, 380, 323, 428, 427 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier bail petition of the petitioner was rejected by this Court, now charge has been framed on 24.05.2018.

Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected as he was absconder for long 16 years in a case in which cognizance was taken under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code and again the petitioner has renewed the prayer for

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.44503 of 2018(2) dt.01-08-2018 2/2 bail without any substantial progress in the trial, so again the prayer for bail is rejected.

However, the petitioner may renew the prayer for bail after three months.
