The grievance of the petitioner is that the Central Bank of India has directed to shift its branch office from the premises of Rahua Sangram, in the district of Madhubani, to a different place. However, this writ application, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, in the form of PIL, has not made out any case warranting interference therewith in exercise of this Court's extraordinary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India inasmuch as it is, for the respondent concerned to determine whether its branch office shall be situated?

Patna High Court CWJC No.16273 of 2014 (3) dt.29-09-2015 This apart, it transpires from the counter-affidavit, which has been filed by the respondent Central Bank of India that the said branch office already stands shifted to its new location at village Rahua Sangram, in the district of Madhubani. This writ petition has, therefore, become infructuous apart from the fact that it has failed to disclose any sustainable ground for interference with the respondent Bank's decision to shift its branch from one place to another.

This writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
