The petitioner, on his surrender, is in custody since 21.06.2018 in connection with Sirdala P.S. Case No. 204 of 2017 for the offence registered under Sections 323, 341, 307, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present altercation took place on account of petty dispute and the petitioner is alleged to have attacked the brother of the informant with lathi. It is further submitted that the injuries purported to have been inflicted by the petitioner have been found to be simple in nature on the person of the brother of the informant. Therefore, the petitioner may be extended the privilege of bail.
