That this is an application for issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of promotion to the Post of Sanitary Inspector and to pay him salary of Sanitary Inspector with all consequential benefits for which the petitioner is found entitled to including A.C.P. etc."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation, Patna for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case appropriate representation is filed, within a period of two weeks from today, the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation, Patna shall dispose off the same by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
