2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Katra P.S. Case No. 53 of 2025, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 190, 126(2), 127(2), 223,121(2),132,174,262,117(2),115(2),109,303(2),62,324(4),32 4(5),125,61(2),352,351(2),351 (4) of BNS, 2023.
3. Allegedly the police party had gone to nab one Manish Kumar, but he managed to flee. It is further alleged that on instigation, the villagers gathered there and started assaulting the police party. There were 80-100 persons, besides 31 persons named in the FIR.
4. Learned Advocate for the petitioner submitted that only on account of protest to the indecent and illegal process of arrest and raid, the local people assembled there, and some

No.50715 of 2025(2) dt.11-08-2025 2/3 scuffle took place with the police personnels and due to which the names of various persons, including the petitioner, have been implicated. There is no specific allegation against the petitioner and his name has surfaced on the disclosure made by the local Chowkidar. Taking note of the aforesaid fact, one of the co-accused person namely, Santosh Chaudhary @ Santosh Kumar Chaudhary facing identical allegation has been extended the privilege of anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 40384 of 2025 vide order dated 04.07.2025.
5. On the other hand, learned Advocate for the State vehemently opposes the bail application and submits that the petitioner along with others have caused obstruction in discharge of public duty and also assaulted the police personnels.
6. Having considered the submissions set forth by the learned Advocates for the respective parties and taking note of the omnibus nature of allegation as also the fact that the case of the petitioner is based on parity, let the petitioner abovenamed be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, upon furnishing bail
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50715 of 2025(2) dt.11-08-2025 3/3 bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Muzaffarpur (East) in connection with Katra P.S. Case No. 53 of 2025, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, with the further condition that one of the bailors shall be the own/close family members of the petitioner.
