Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)(a) and 26 of the Arms Act.

A loaded country made pistol was allegedly recovered from possession of the petitioner.

Submission is that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 09.03.2018. Investigation of the case is already complete. Petitioner is ready to cooperate with the trial.

Considering the nature of allegation, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on completion of nine months of custody on furnishing bail bond of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.45168 of 2018 (2) dt.02-08-2018 2/2 Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Bettiah Town Police Station Case No.175 of 2018, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
