Heard the parties in virtual Court.

Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272,273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

54 litre of liquor was allegedly recovered from the Bus on which the petitioners were driver and cleaner. They have got no criminal antecedent. Investigation of the case is already complete

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8501 of 2021(2) dt.03-05-2021 2/2 Submission is that liquor was of some passenger travelling on the said Bus and the petitioners had no knowledge about that.

Let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Bochaha Police Station Case No.290 of 2020 with following conditions:

(a) Both the bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below.

(b) The petitioners shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.

(c) The petitioners shall not leave the country without permission of the trial Court.
