Petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Trial No. 15 of 2017 arising out of Majhaulia P.S. Case No. 372 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20, 22, 24, 27 and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act. Allegation against petitioner is recovery of 16 Kilograms of Ganja from his possession.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He has no concern with the said Ganja. The said Ganja belonged to other co-accused person, namely, Vijay Yadav, who was driving the alleged motorcycle and fled away with the said vehicle. The recovered Ganja is less than commercial quantity. He has no criminal antecedent and

Considering the aforesaid fact and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge III, West Champaran, Bettiah in connection with Trial No. 15 of 2017 arising out of Majhaulia P.S. Case No. 372 of 2016.
