The petitioners pray for bail in a case registered for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the F.I.R., some miscreants on the point of pistol snatched bag from the informant containing therein cash of Rs. 1,69,700/-, a blanket and Aadhar Card of the informant. Name of the petitioners transpired during course of investigation on the basis of confessional statement of coaccused. It is submitted that no looted article has been recovered from the possession of the petitioners and till date, they have not been put on T.I.Parade. Petitioners are in custody since 14.04.2021.

No.61340 of 2021(3) dt.04-04-2022 2/2 However, learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the bail petition and submitted that on the confessional statement of coaccused, stolen money of Rs. 1,04,200/-, two country-made pistol and six cartridges have been recovered from the house of petitioners and during course of investigation, in the restatement, the informant has stated that he had identified petitioners at the place of occurrence, but due to fear, he did not disclose their name in the F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and same is, accordingly, rejected.
