The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That this application is for issuance of an appropriate writ(s),order(s) or direction(s) and thereby to issue a writ in the nature of "Mandamus" directing the respondents authorities to remove the encroachment upon a Pokhar appertaining to Khata No.-307, Plot

Patna High Court CWJC No.11612 of 2023(2) dt.14-09-2023 2/3 No.-1104 area 7 Acre 10 Decimal of village- siswan Panchayat Mahuli, Circle -Nawada District-Nawada, which has been encroached by several villagers affecting irrigation of about 500 Acres of land in village Siswan and its adjoining area as well as any other relief's permissible under the facts and circumstances of the case."

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Circle Officer, Nawada, DistrictNawada, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

It is needless to state that in case, the petitioner approaches the Circle Officer, Nawada, District- Nawada, by filing appropriate petition under the provisions of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956, within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and after hearing the affected parties, appropriate orders shall be passed thereon, forthwith.
