The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 414 of the Indian Penal Code and 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

The prosecution case is that the informant being the Block Supply Officer, Bodh Gaya intercepted a truck loaded with rice which was resembled with the govt. supply rice, hence, the rice was seized and the case was registered. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that on suspicion the accusation has been levelled. The seized rice was purchased rice of the petitioner and the seized

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23387 of 2016 (2) dt.24-05-2016 2/2 rice has been released in favour of the petitioner in pursuance to the order passed in C.W.J.C. No. 7565 of 2016. A statement has been made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya in connection with Magadh University P.S. Case No. 24 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
