Petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Kotwa P.S. Case No. 25 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.
Informant in his written complaint has stated that on 07.02.2018 while he was returning to Customer Service Centre after withdrawing Rs. one lacs from the State Bank of India at about 3.30 PM, some miscreants coming on motorcycle from behind snatched the bag and fled away towards Motihari. He has stated that he could recognize the culprits on seeing them.

No.45783 of 2018(2) dt.27-07-2018 2/2 It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that his name in this case has surfaced on the basis of confessional statement made by one co-accused Anil Kumar Singh and, except said statement there is no incriminating material against the petitioner. In the confessional statement made there is no direct involvement of petitioner but only statement has been given by co-accused that he worked as a liner in this case. Petitioner is in custody since 29.05.2018. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of C.J.M., Motihari, East Champaran, in connection with Kotwa P.S. Case No. 25 of 2018.
