1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned APP for the State.
2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 20(b) II(c), 23, 25 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substance Act in connection with Kuchaikote P.S. Case No.278 of 2021.
3. This is the second attempt of the petitioner to seek regular bail on the ground that petitioner is in custody since 04.07.2021 and charges have been framed.
4. It is also submitted that allegation is of recovery of 160 Kg of Ganja from dickey of a car and petitioner was apprehended from the car along with two other accused. It is next submitted that since charges have been framed as such no useful purpose would served by keeping the petitioner in jail.

5. The learned APP opposes the anticipatory bail and submits that since charges have been framed, as such the trial has commenced.
6. Considering the submissions made by the learned APP and in the nature of allegation that 160 Kg. of Ganja was recovered from a vehicle from which the petitioner was apprehended, the Court is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail for the present.
