2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(2), 352, 85, 80(2), 103(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. As per prosecution case, informant suspects that this petitioner and his family members killed her sister.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case because petitioner is husband of the deceased. There is no eye witnessed to the occurrence and only on suspicion petitioner has been implicated in this case. Charge sheet has already been submitted. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and he is in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50973 of 2025(6) dt.02-12-2025 2/2 custody since 21.12.2024.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail. Petitioner is husband of the deceased and during investigation, petitioner confessed his guilt. Post mortem report indicates that cause of death was hemorrhagic and neurogenic shock as a result of injuries caused by heavy and sharp edged weapon.

6. Considering the gravity of accusation as well as the materials collected during course of investigation, petition for bail of this petitioner is dismissed. Since, petitioner is in custody, let the trial be expedited and concluded preferably within a year.
