Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
From the house of the petitioner no. 1, 40 litres of country made liquor was recovered. Petitioner no. 2 was also there. Hence, both were arrested. Petitioners have stated on oath that they have got no criminal antecedent.
Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail after completion of investigation of the case against the petitioners on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47990 of 2019(2) dt.02-08-2019 2/2 learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Tikari Police Station Case No. 178 of 2019, subject to the following conditions:- (a) The petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the learned court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
(b) Both the bailors shall be resident of the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below.
