This is a petition for grant of regular bail in connection with Jalalpur P.S. Case No. 10 of 2016 for offences under Sections 392 and 395 of the Indian Penal Code. Accusation is that Rs.1400/-, laptop and mobile were snatched by some unknown persons.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that except the confessional statement of the petitioner, there is no material against him. Neither any of looted articles were recovered from his possession nor the petitioner was put on test identification parade and his bail was rejected by the Court below only considering the criminal antecedent. However, the petitioner has remained in custody for approximately one year.
