That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ order or direction for staying Saran district departmental enquiry (proceeding) no-178/19 being conducted against the petitioner till conclusion of vigilance PS Case No-39/19 dated 20-09-2019 U/S-7(a) of PC Act from the court of Special Judge (Vigilance) North Bihar Muzaffarpur where it is pending as defence of the petitioner will get prejudiced and also complicated questions of law and facts are involved in the said case and/or for any other order or orders which this Hon'ble may deem fit

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous in view of the fact that during the interregnum period, the final order of punishment has already been passed, hence, the present writ petition be disposed off. 3.
