The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Amour P.S. Case No. 74 of 2022 dated 16.03.2022 instituted for the offence under Sections 147, 341, 323, 324, 307, 385 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the son of the informant by means of a knife on his head, causing grievous injuries.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is a counter version of the occurrence vide Amour P.S. Case No. 73 of 2022 against the informant and his family members. Though grievous injury is said to have been

No.52027 of 2022(2) dt.23-12-2022 2/2 caused by the petitioner, but regard being had to the period of custody which is from 11.06.2022 and the background facts as also that the petitioner earlier was made accused in only one complaint case, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with Amour P.S. Case No. 74 of 2022.
