The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 376/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

Prosecution case is that on 16.11.2015 co-accused Randhir Kumar Singh, Sanjay Singh along with the petitioner Rishikesh Singh, ravished the informant on the point of knife. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that maliciously the accusation has been levelled. Meanwhile, let no coercive step be taken against the petitioners in connection with the aforementioned matter.

Considering the nature of accusation, this Court is not

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24022 of 2016 (2) dt.30-05-2016 2/2 inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Let the learned Court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders within a period of six weeks in connection with Ghoghardiha P.S. Case No.121/2015, pending before the learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Madhubani.

With the above observation, this application is, accordingly, disposed off.
